הפארין (באנגלית: Heparin) הוא גליקוזאמינוגליקן הקשור למספר רב של קבוצות סולפט. להפארין יש צפיפות מטען שלילית הגבוהה ביותר מכל מולקולה ביולוגית ידועה. נעשה בו שימוש נרחב בהזרקה כחומר נוגד קרישה וביצירת משטחים נוגדי קרישה בציוד רפואי. הפארין רפואי מסונטז מרקמות של חזירים ופרות.

Heparin
Heparin is a widely used injectable blood thinner. It is used to treat and prevent deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism (collectively known as venous thromboembolism) and is also used as part of the treatment of myocardial infarction and unstable angina. Heparin is used on the inside surfaces of various devices such as test tubes and kidney dialysis machines.

Heparin
An anticoagulant (anti-clotting) medication. Heparin is useful in preventing thromboembolic complications (clots that travel from their site of origin through the blood stream to clog up another vessel). Heparin is also used in the early treatment of blood clots in the lungs (pulmonary embolisms).
