סדר אלפביתי הוא שיטה נפוצה לארגון שמות ברשימה, לפי סדר האותיות בשפה שבה כתובה הרשימה. לשפות שונות קיימים חוקים שונים לאופן הסידור האלפביתי. השיטה מקלה על חיפוש שם או כותרת ברשימות ועל אופן ההתמצאות בזמן עיון בהן. השיטה קרויה גם סדר לקסיקוגרפי, משום שהיא מאפיינת את סדר הערכים בלקסיקון.
