תחמושת - כינוי כללי לקליעים הנורים מאמצעי לחימה שונים, כגון אקדחים, רובים, מקלעים ותותחים אך גם מכלי ירייה עתיקים כגון קשת או קטפולטה. במובן הכללי יותר, תחמושת מתייחסת לכל אמצעי הלחימה החד-פעמיים המתכלים עם השימוש בהם, לרבות רקטות או טילים.
