ט' היא האות התשיעית באלפבית העברי, ושמה טי"ת (טֵית). בהתאם לחלוקת אותיות האלפבית העברי לחמשת מוצאי הפה, ט' נמנית עם חמש האותיות הלשוניות: דטלנ"ת. מבחינה פונולוגית היא ייצגה במקור עיצור מכתשי מלועלע, סותם, אטום (/tˤ/ :IPA) - עיצור נחצי כמו טא (ط) הערבית, אולם בפי רוב הדוברים היא מבוטאת כמו ת"ו - או עיצור מכתשי, סותם, אטום (/t/ :IPA)

בגימטריה ערכה 9, ובהתאם לכך כיתה ט' היא הכיתה התשיעית בבית הספר. כשהאות ט' מופיעה בראש מספר פירושה 9,000, למשל: ט'תתנ"א הוא 9,851. המספר 15 נכתב באופן חריג בצורה ט"ו, כדי להימנע מכתיבת אותיות המרכיבות את השם המפורש. מסיבה דומה נכתב המספר 16 בצורה ט"ז.
