ברווזן או פלטיפוס בלעז (שם מדעי: Ornithorhynchus anatinus) הוא מין יונק ייחודי בעל פה הדומה למקור ומטיל ביצים המשתייך למשפחת הברווזניים (שהוא המין והסוג היחיד בו). הברווזן מוגדר מאובן חי, והוא בין היונקים המיוחדים בעולם: הוא שייך לסדרת בעלי ביב שכיום רק הוא וקיפודן נמליים נמנים עליה. בני משפחה אלה מטילים ביצים במקום להמליט גורים, וטמפרטורת הגוף שלהם נמוכה בהרבה משאר היונקים. הוא נמנה גם על הקבוצה הנדירה של יונקים ארסיים. הברווזן חי באוסטרליה וסביבתה בלבד.

Platypus
The platypus (Ornithorhynchus anatinus), also known as the duck-billed platypus, is a semiaquatic egg-laying mammal endemic to eastern Australia, including Tasmania. Together with the four species of echidna, it is one of the five species of monotremes, the only mammals that lay eggs instead of giving birth. The animal is the sole living representative of its family (Ornithorhynchidae) and genus (Ornithorhynchus), though a number of related species have been found in the fossil record.
