נורוז (בפרסית: نو روز - "יום חדש") הוא שמו של ראש השנה וחג האביב הפרסי. נורוז הוא היום הראשון בלוח השנה הפרסי המסורתי, שאחת הגרסאות שלו משמשת באופן רשמי באיראן. זהו חג שמקורו דתי זורואסטרי, אך השפיע על בני אמונות אחרות ועל כן הוא נחוג במדינות שונות ברחבי אסיה, אם כי המועד עשוי להשתנות לפי גרסת לוח השנה המקובלת בכל מדינה ומדינה.

כיום מציינים את נורוז באופן רשמי במדינות מרכז אסיה כמו איראן, אפגניסטן, קזחסטן, קירגיזסטן, טג'יקיסטן, אזרבייג'ן, אוזבקיסטן (יומיים), טורקמניסטן, טורקיה ובאורח חלקי ולא רשמי בפקיסטן ובהודו. כן מציינים אותו המיעוטים הטורקים-עות'מאנים בבלקן.

Nowruz (from , literally "[The] New Day") is the name of the Iranian New Year also known as Kurdish and Persian New Year, celebrated by mostly Iranian peoples worldwide as the beginning of the new year. It has been celebrated for over 3,000 years in the Balkans, the Black Sea Basin, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and the Middle East. It marks the first day of Farvardin month and spring in Iranian calendar.
