כינים (שם מדעי: Phthiraptera), סדרה של חרקים בעלי גלגול חסר המונה כ-400 מינים. הכינים הן טפילים חיצוניים המתקיימים ממציצת דם של יונקים ועופות. אין להן כנפיים וגופן שטוח. לחלק מהמינים אין עיניים או שהן מנוונות. גפי הפה מורכבות משלושה דוקרנים: העליון משמש למציצה והתיכון להפרשת רוק. החדק נוצר מהשפה העליונה שעליה שיניים קטנות האוחזות בפונדקאי בעת המציצה. הכינה מותאמת לסוג פונדקאי מסוים, ונדיר למדי שזן אחד של כינה יהיה טפיל לכמה מיני יונקים. לעתים מותאמות הכינים גם לאזור מסוים בגופו של הפונדקאי, כגון: ראש (הנקראת גם כינת הראש) או ערווה. ביצי הכינים מודבקות לשיער הפונדקאים. השלב הצעיר של הכינה, זה הבוקע מהביצה, נקרא נימפה, הוא דומה לבוגרים, מלבד שינויים גופניים קטנים כמו אברי מין לא מפותחים.

ישנם סוגים רבים של כינים. בין הסוגים הידועים ניתן למנות את כינת הראש (Pediculus humanus capitis) הנטפלת לקרקפת של בני אדם, וכיני ערווה (המוכרים גם בכינוי "מנדבושקס"), הנטפלים לאיברי המין, ולעתים אף לגבות, לריסים, לשפם או זקן, ולבית השחי.
