צהבת (בלועזית: Jaundice) היא מצב שבו שוקע צבען (פיגמנט) צהוב בשם בילירובין ברקמות. צבען זה נוצר בגוף באופן טבעי בעת פירוק חלבוני המוגלובין ומיוגלובין ובאופן טבעי הוא מפורק ומסולק מהגוף. מצב של צהבת מתרחש בשני מנגנונים אפשריים: עודף יצור של בילירובין או חסר בפינויו מן הגוף. צהבת אינה מחלה אלא סימן, שיכול להתלוות למחלות רבות, כגון צהבת ילודים או דלקת כבד (הפטיטיס).
