OUTtv is a Dutch
television channel which can be viewed via
cable television/
digital television as premium channel in the Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden. OUTtv was launched on April 2, 2008 by OUTtv Media B.V. and has also been available with other cable companies since April 11, 2008. By now, OUTtv can be viewed in the Netherlands via
Ziggo, UPC,
KPN (interactive television), Caiway, Delta and Glashart. In Belgium, the channel can be viewed via
Telenet and in Sweden via Com Hem. OUTtv started out as a collaboration with Canada's
OutTV, the first Canadian 24-hour
LGBT television channel, whereby the brand and many of the programmes were licensed. Nowadays, most of the programs of the Canadian channel are no longer shown on the Dutch channel.
