Shaman (שָמַאן) הוא אלבום האולפן ה-19 של להקת סנטנה, האלבום יצא לשווקים ב-22 באוקטובר 2002. כבר בשבוע הראשון נמכרו כ-300,000 אלבומים. האלבום הגיע למעמד פלטינה כפולה, לאחר שנמכרו למעלה מ-5,000,000 עותקים ברחבי העולם. האלבום הגיע למקום הראשון במצעד הבילבורד 200 של שנת 2002. הלהיטים שבלטו באלבום הם: "The Game of Love", ו-"Why Don't You & I".

לעומת אלבום האולפן הקודם של סנטנה בו השתתפו זמרי רוק כאריק קלפטון ורוב תומאס, באלבום זה השתתפו אמני פופ, ראפ, והיפ הופ.

Shamanism

Shamanism ( or ) is a practice that involves a practitioner reaching altered states of consciousness in order to perceive and interact with a spirit world and channel these transcendental energies into this world. A shaman is a person regarded as having access to, and influence in, the world of benevolent and malevolent spirits, who typically enters into a trance state during a ritual, and practices divination and healing.
