מיתון הוא מונח במקרו כלכלה שפירושו תקופה ארוכה יחסית של פעילות כלכלית מואטת בכלל המשק. מיתון בדרך כלל גורר עמו ירידות מחירים, צמצום של הייצור והמסחר וירידה בתעסוקה.
