קרינה אלקטרומגנטית (נקראת גם: קרינה א"מ) היא הפרעה מחזורית הרמונית בשדה החשמלי והמגנטי, המתפשטת במרחב. הפרעה כזו נקראת גל אלקטרומגנטי. חזית הגל של הקרינה האלקטרומגנטית מתקדמת בריק במהירות קבועה, שהיא מהירות האור.
