Quantum
In
physics, a
quantum (plural:
quanta) is the minimum amount of any physical entity involved in an interaction. Behind this, one finds the fundamental notion that a
physical property may be "quantized," referred to as "the hypothesis of
quantization". This means that the magnitude can take on only certain discrete values.
Tailored Access Operations
The
Office of Tailored Access Operations (
TAO) is a
cyber-warfare intelligence-gathering unit of the
National Security Agency (NSA). It has been active since at least circa 1998. TAO identifies, monitors, infiltrates, and gathers intelligence on computer systems being used by entities foreign to the United States. The NSA terms these activities
"computer network exploitation".
