אוכלוסייה או אוכלוסין (מיוונית: okhlos - המון אדם) היא כלל התושבים במקום מוגדר (מדינה, אזור, עיר) ובזמן מוגדר. האוכלוסייה בכדור הארץ היא כ-6.3 מיליארד, כלומר מספר האנשים בעולם הוא בערך 6.3 מיליארד. בשנים האחרונות אוכלוסיית העולם גדלה מספרית מדי דקה בכ־160 איש בקירוב.
