(ש"ע) לוחם-גרילה; פרטיזן

פרטיזן הוא כינוי ללוחם בצבא לא-סדיר (ראו גם גרילה) שפועל נגד כוחות כיבוש. הכינוי מתייחס בדרך כלל ללוחמים בתנועות מחתרת נגד הכיבוש הנאצי באירופה בתקופת מלחמת העולם השנייה, אך נעשה שימוש במושג גם ביחס למתנגדים בכוח לכיבוש הסובייטי במזרח אירופה לאחר המלחמה ולחברים בקבוצות התנגדות צבאיות אחרות. מקור המונח באיטלקית, שבה משתמשים במילה partigiano במשמעות "מתנגד למפלגה/לכוח". פרטיזנים התחבאו מכיוון שרצו שהגרמנים לא יתפסו אותם ויהרגו אותם בגלל זה הם כל פעם נדדו
