אם הפנינה או דַּר או צִדְפַּת הַפְּנִינִים היא חומר מרוכב אורגני ולא אורגני המיוצר על ידי מספר רכיכות. אם הפנינה היא גמישה, חזקה וססגונית. פנינים והרבדים הפנימיים של קליפת הצדפות נעשות מחומר זה.
