צו מניעה הוא צו הניתן על ידי בית משפט או בית דין לפיו יהיה אדם מנוע מלעשות פעולה המנוגדת לצו. צו המניעה נמנה עם שורה של סעדים שיכול בית המשפט להעניק לתובע, המנויים בפרק כ"ח לתקנות סדר הדין האזרחי, התשמ"ד-1984. סע' 1 לתקנות מגדיר סעד זמני כ"סעד שניתן להבטחת קיומו התקין של ההליך או ביצועו היעיל של פסק הדין".

צו המניעה יכול להינתן כסעד זמני, ומטרתו לשמור על המצב הקיים כל עוד ההליך המשפטי בין הצדדים תלוי ועומד, או כסעד סופי וקבוע.
