מהדורה היא גרסה של ספר שיצאה לאור במועד מסוים, כולל הדפסות חוזרות של מהדורה זו. הדפסה נוספת נעשית בהתאם להחלטת המו"ל, ובה יוצא הספר בגרסה זהה לקודמת. מהדורה נוספת של הספר שונה מקודמתה, במעט או בהרבה, ומצריכה מעורבות של מחבר הספר (או ממשיכיו).
