שיבוט הוא מונח בביולוגיה המתייחס לתהליכים שבסופם מתקבלים העתקים של רצפי DNA, תאים, רקמות או אורגניזמים הזהים באופן מלא או כמעט מלא, מבחינה גנטית, למקור שעל פיו הם נוצרו. המונח נגזר מהמילה שבט, משום שבעזרתו ניתן ליצור שבט של אורגניזמים או תאים בעלי מאפיינים גנטים זהים.
