(ש"ע) פצעי בגרות, חזזית, אקנה

אקנֶה או חַטֶּטֶת היא דלקת של בלוטות החלב וזקיקי השערות. היא מופיעה בעיקר בגיל ההתבגרות, כתוצאה מתגובה לקויה להורמון הטסטוסטרון. תגובת הגוף להורמון בדרך כלל מתייצבת עם הזמן, ואיתה נעלמים או נרגעים הסימפטומים. התופעה ידועה גם בשמות פצעי בגרות, חצ'קונים (כנראה מהמילה חשק) או פִּצְעוֹנִים. את המילה פִּצְעוֹן חידש המילונאי ראובן אלקלעי.

השם "אקנה" אינו אלא שיבוש של המילה היוונית άκμή, "אקמה" - נקודה, פסגה (גם באנגלית: acme).
