VACTERL association (also
VATER association) refers to the non-random co-occurrence of
birth defects Vertebral anomalies,
Anal atresia,
Cardiac defects,
Tracheoesophageal fistula and/or
Esophageal atresia,
Renal &
Radial anomalies and
Limb defects. The reason it is called an association, rather than a
