הוא מבנה של שלושה נאנו-לווינים, אשר נועדו לביצוע טיסת מבנה משותפת, לתמרן בחלל עם מנועים זעירים בטווח זמן ארוך ולבצע משימת גאולוקציה (איתור). הפרויקט מבוצע בטכניון בהובלת מכון אשר לחקר החלל, נעשה בשיתוף התעשייה האווירית לישראל, רפא"ל, אלביט SPACECIALIST וגורמים נוספים.

שִׁמְשׁוֹן, על פי הסיפור המקראי, היה השופט השנים-עשר ששפט את ישראל, והאחרון שקורותיו מתוארים בספר שופטים. שמשון גדל כנזיר אלוהים, וכל זמן שנזירותו נשמרה, חנן אותו האלוהים בכוח על-טבעי, שבו השתמש כדי להכות בפלשתים, ששלטו בדרום ארץ ישראל בכל תקופת מנהיגותו.
