נווארה

נווארה (בספרדית - Comunidad Foral de Navarra, בבסקית - Nafarroako Foru Erkidegoa) היא אחת מ-17 הקהילות האוטונומיות של ספרד ונמצאת בצפון המדינה. גובלת בצרפת בצפון, באראגון במזרח, בלה ריוחה בדרום ובארץ הבסקים במערב. שטחה 10,391 קמ"ר ומספר התושבים בשנת 2005 היה 593,472 נפש, מהם כשליש בעיר הבירה פמפלונה. נווארה מורכבת ממחוז יחיד בעל אותו שם.

בנווארה 272 ערים ומועצות מקומיות, בהן גם טודלה עירו של בנימין מטודלה. השפות הרשמיות הן ספרדית ובסקית. מ-810 ועד 1610 נשלטה נווארה על ידי מלכים, וגבולותיה השתנו.

Navarre (; ; ; ), officially the Chartered Community of Navarre (Spanish: Comunidad Foral de Navarra ; Basque: Nafarroako Foru Komunitatea ), is an autonomous community in northern Spain, bordering the Basque Country, La Rioja, and Aragon in Spain and Aquitaine in France. The capital city is Pamplona (or Iruña in Basque).
