Graha (Sanskritgráha "seizing, laying hold of, holding", Tamil: kōḷ) are astrological figures in Hindu astrology. There are nine, the Navagraha (Tamily kōṇmīṉ, "imperial stars"), which includes the planets Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn; the Sun; the Moon; and positions in the sky, Rahu (north or ascending lunar node) and Ketu (south or descending lunar node).
