Lydia (Assyrian: Luddu; , ) was an Iron Age kingdom of western Asia Minor located generally east of ancient Ionia in the modern western Turkish provinces of Usak, Manisa and inland Izmir. Its population spoke an Anatolian language known as Lydian.
