תחש המשכן (שם מדעי: Dugong dugon) הוא מין יונק ימי יחיד בסוגו (Dugong) המשתייך למשפחת הריטינות שבסדרת התחשאים. מבחינה גנטית מקורב אל הפילים והשפנאים יותר מאל יונקי הים כלווייתנאים ודולפינים. תחש המשכן קרוב ביותר לפרות הים (Manatees) וכן למין הנכחד פרת הים שטלר שהייתה גדולה פי שלושה ממנו.
