דובאי (בערבית: دبيّ, תעתיק מדויק: דֻבַיְּ) היא אחת משבע אמירויות המרכיבות את איחוד האמירויות הערביות במפרץ הפרסי. האמירות נמצאת דרומית מערבית לשארג'ה וצפון מזרחית לאבו דאבי. דובאי היא האמירות השנייה בגודלה באיחוד (4,144 קמ"ר), לאחר אבו דאבי, ויש לה את האוכלוסייה הגדולה ביותר (2.26 מיליון בני אדם, נכון לשנת 2008).

דובאי משכה השקעות זרות רבות, בשל הכרזתה כאזור סחר חופשי והיעדר המיסים על הכנסות. מדיניות זו הפכה את דובאי למרכז עסקי ותיירותי בינלאומי חשוב.

Dubai ( ; , Gulf pronunciation: ) is the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is located on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf and is one of the seven emirates that make up the country. Abu Dhabi and Dubai are the only two emirates to have veto power over critical matters of national importance in the country's legislature. The city of Dubai is located on the emirate's northern coastline and heads up the Dubai-Sharjah-Ajman metropolitan area. Dubai is to host World Expo 2020.
