The Chumburu are a tribe in the North of Ghana. They are indigenous in two traditional areas:

• The kingdom of Chumburung in the West of Kpandai District in Northern Region (Ghana);
• The town and surroundings of Yeji in Brong-Ahafo in Ghana.

Both traditional areas are at the shores of Lake Volta.
