ביזנטיון (ביוונית: Βυζάντιον, ההגייה ביוונית מודרנית: "ויזאנדיון", בלטינית נכתב השם: Byzantium. לעתים מוזכרת בשם ביזנץ) הייתה עיר בעת העתיקה אשר שכנה במיקום אסטרטגי בפתח מצר הבוספורוס, והתפרנסה במשך הדורות מהסחר בין הים השחור והים התיכון ומדיג.
