Bresso is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about north of Milan. At the 2001 census the municipality had a population of 26,255 inhabitants and a population density of 8,027.2 persons/km², making it the most densely populated comune in Italy outside the Province of Naples (although it was only seventh overall, behind Portici, Casavatore, San Giorgio a Cremano, Melito di Napoli, Naples, and Arzano).
