Bjarkøya is an island in the municipality of Harstad in Troms county, Norway. It was the main island of the former municipality of Bjarkøy, with the old administrative centre of Bjarkøy, Nergården, located on the island. Bjarkøy and Harstad merged on 1 January 2013. The island is located north of Grytøya and northwest of Sandsøya, with the Andfjorden to the northwest and the Vågsfjorden to the southeast. The main church for the island is Bjarkøy Church in Nergården.
