שטח הוא גודל של תחום מישורי בהשוואה ליחידת מידה קבועה. באופן כללי יותר, אפשר לחשב שטח לכל יריעה; בפרט, שטח הפנים של גוף תלת-ממדי הוא שטח השפה, או הקליפה החיצונית, של הגוף.
