אנגרה (נהר)

אנגרה (רוסית: Ангара מבוריאטית: אנגאי, אנגרה, מילולית: "פתוח") הוא נהר הזורם בדרום מזרח סיביר שברוסיה. מוצאו מימת באיקל ליד ההתיישבות ליסטבינקה והוא נשפך לנהר יניסיי בסמוך לסטרלקה כ-40 קילומטרים דרום-מזרחית ללסוסיבירסק. הנהר עובר בשני מחוזות של רוסיה: מחוז אירקוטסק ומחוז קרסנוירסק, בו הוא מתנקז לתוך היניסיי. על גדות הנהר נמצאות הערים אירקוטסק, אנגרסק (מרכז זיקוק ועיבוד נפט), בראטסק ועוד.

נהר אנגרה הוא אחד המקורות הגדולים בעולם לאנרגיה הידרואלקטרית, והוקמו עליו ארבעה סכרים הידרואלקטריים - באירקוטסק, בבראטסק, באוסט-אילימסק ובבוגוצ'ני - להפקת חשמל המיועד בעיקר לתעשייה הכבדה. אחד מהם, סכר בראטסק, יוצר את האגם המלאכותי הגדול בעולם, אגם בראטסק, ומזין תחנת כוח הידרואלקטרית בעלת תפוקה של כ-4,500 מגאוואט, מהגבוהות בעולם. האגמים המלאכותיים שנוצרו עקב הקמת הסכרים, גרמו להצפת התיישבויות, כפרים ואזורים חקלאיים לאורך הנהר. עקב ההשפעה השלילית על התושבים בסמוך לנהר, ספגה בניית הסכרים ביקורת מכיוונם של מספר אינטלקטואלים סובייטים וביניהם הסופר האירקוטסקי וולנטין רספוטין. ניתן להבחין בביקורת זו בספריו: להתראות למטיאורה וסיביר, סיביר. בנוסף, מהווה הנהר מקור חשוב לדיג.

Angara River

The Angara River (, Angar, "Cleft"; , Angará) is a river in Siberia, which traces a course through Russia's Irkutsk Oblast and Krasnoyarsk Krai. It is the river that drains Lake Baikal and is the headwater tributary of the Yenisei River. It was formerly known as the Lower or Nizhnyaya Angara (distinguishing it from the Upper Angara). Below its junction with the Ilim, it was formerly known as the Upper Tunguska (, Verkhnyaya Tunguska, distinguishing it from the Lower Tunguska) and, with the names reversed, as the Lower Tunguska.

Perevalne

Perevalne (; (Perevalnoye); ) (until 1945, Angara) is a village in Crimea, a disputed territory recognized by a majority of countries as part of Ukraine but administered by Russia as the Republic of Crimea. The village of Perevalne is administered by the Dobre Village Council, which in turn is subordinate to Crimea's Simferopol Raion (district) authorities.
