אִפְנוּן (באנגלית: Modulation) הוא העברה של מידע על גבי גל נושא, שהוא לרוב גל סינוסי בתדר גבוה מזה של המידע המאופנן. הרכיב שמבצע את פעולת האפנון קרוי אפנן.
