iMovie and GarageBand, formerly known as iLife and Apple Creativity Apps (as it is still commonly called), is a suite of software applications for Mac OS X and iOS developed by Apple Inc. for organizing, editing, and publishing photos, movies, and music. The suite currently includes two applications: iMovie and GarageBand. iLife used to include iDVD and iWeb but they were discontinued with the Mac App Store release of iLife '11 (they were still in the DVD version). They were discontinued altogether with the next release, commonly called "iLife '13."
