שעה היא יחידת זמן השווה ל-60 דקות שהן 3,600 שניות. שעה היא גם בערך החלק העשרים וארבעה של החציון של אורכן של היממות בשנה. בעוד שהיממה היא יחידת זמן טבעית (אורכה נגזר ממשך הסיבוב של כדור הארץ סביב צירו), הרי השעה (והדקה והשנייה) היא יחידת זמן מלאכותית, משום שמספר השעות ביממה הוא מספר שרירותי.
