The Druze (; or , plural ; plural , ) are an Arabic-speaking esoteric ethnoreligious group, originating in Southwestern Asia, who self-identify as (Al-Muwaḥḥidūn/Muwahhideen). Jethro of Midian is considered an ancestor of all Druze and revered as their spiritual founder as well as chief prophet.
